Journal: FuzzyDaddy?

I can't figure out how this whole friends/foes thing is supposed to work. As far as I can see, there is NO WAY to send a message to anyone. An (actual) friend of mine does ultra-high-bandwidth video conferencing, and they're always looking for folks willing to demo their software. FuzzyDaddy posted a question saying he was looking for a demo for a high-bandwidth link. Of course, I saw this post days after it went up and probably long after he stopped checking responses. (Unless he gets mailed a copy of every response -- the Slashdot FAQ is entirely silent on the subject).

So, I tried to leave a message in his journal, only to discover that commenting was no longer possible. Okay, so I friended him in the vague hope he would see THIS message in MY journal and contact me. I'm not holding my breath.

EDIT: Months have passed and I just rediscovered my journal entry. My friend has now moved on to a completely different job, so in the words of one SNL Alumnus "Never Mind."
