Journal: Modded funny

Getting modded up funny does nothing for your karma. As the FAQ says, you have to be smart, not just a smart-ass. However, getting modded up funny leaves you open to a serious karma bashing. Obviously, humor is a highly subjective thing and people have wildly varying tastes in what they find funny. So now you have your +5 funny post, and someone finds it not funny so they mod down. While getting modded up didn't help your karma at all, you just got docked cause someone has a different sense of humor. I find this to be outlandish and unfair. I'm not saying give good karma for +1 Funny, just give mods another option that simply reverses one +1 Funny rather than costs you karma. Call the anti-funny mod if you will, but something needs to be done.
