I doubt anyone will ever see this, but I'd sure love to know how someone gets to post -1 right of the gate.
There is no stinkin' way I can ever climb out of this hole, as the more I post, no matter how sanely, how civilized, any post by me comes right out -1.
Yep, negative one. I can't delete my account either. They've effectively blacklisted me, forever. I've been told that my posts aren't even moderateable. I'm done, screwed. I don't get the courtesy of a reply to see if it's s system bug or glitch of some kind. I did not post for a week just to see, but I see now that nothing has changed.
As I see it, I have two choices.
1) Leave /. forever, nobody will ever see my posts anyway, and they've seen to it that I that can never, ever, change my karma.
2) Stick around and be a troll, an immature little jerk with nothing better in life to do. Frankly, this is tempting, because after the treatment I've gotten from slashdot, I'm rightfully quite angry. Everyday I seen tens or hundreds of inane mediocre posts rated at 4 and 5, but like some elite exclusive club, nothing I could ever say would win enough respect to just be left alone at even 1.
In fact, I'm pretty sure this will net me another -1, not that it can go any lower. I hate being somebody's karma bitch.
Mabye it's time to go over to kuro5hin and bash /. a little.
This is just lame.
