Journal: Dark Side/Wizard Project

Okay. Finally rented The Wizard of Oz and unwrapped my new, legit copy of Dark Side of the Moon. My mission? To find the truth, if any, of the rumour that they make a kind of sense played together.

I was not stoned at the time, so I didn't get any revelations when starting the cd 'at the third roar of the lion' or 'when the colour starts.' Those are two of the most common theories; neither, if you are not stoned, do much.

So I tried something I've wondered about. I started the CD when the dedicatory screen came on, right after the opening credits. And lo and behold, there were some odd coincidences. A few points are somewhat weak, but still, there were enough to make me feel suitably creeped out. Perhaps someday I'll get high and try it again, see if I notice anything else.

So there it is. Settle in a couch someday, turn on the Wizard of Oz, and start Dark Side right when the dedication screen comes on. Make sure the lights are low. Keep a bong nearby if that's your preference. And check it out.
