Journal: Mahler is Dinner Music

So tonite's the first night of Hanukah, and i had to light the candle and struggle with the hebrew. And some random russian people are at my house and eating food. So I wasn't conversing with any of them on account of not knowing them, and I thought we needed some music to listen to. So I went and got a CD of Mahler's 2nd symphony and brought it up, and do you know what my mom said? "Mahler is not dinner music"!!! Can you believe the gall? I'm offended. Mahler certainly IS dinner music.
