Journal: EMS Night Shift

I sit. I think.

Am I here to save them?
But no one is calling for me.
So I wait all night.

I sit. I think.

Wondering when the sun will light.
Wondering when I will have to run.
Wondering what could go wrong.

I sit. I think.

Am I sick to want suffering?
It gives me meaning to my life.
When I try to help misfortune.

I sit. I think.

Soon this will wash away.
I will see another day.
Till then I must be ready.
