Journal Journal: Microsoft sues OSS supporter in Brazil

It looks like MS is fighting hard against the adoption of free software in Brazil. They are suing for defamation Sérgio Amadeu. He is president of the ITI, the IT National Institute, responsible for the PKI in Brazil. Amadeu is also the strongest supporter of open source/free software within the brazilian government, and was one of the keynote speakers in the OSS conference previously covered on Slashdot. There is already an online pettition of support for Amadeu, and a webpage for this campaign (portuguese only).
