That books story had a lot of comments, didn't it? Lots of people like technical books and I just don't get the same buzz out of them. They're dull. I guess I shouldn't treat them like a great sci-fi novel. The only technical books I get on with are reference books and, even then, if I can find an electronic copy with some form of go-direct-to-chapter feature then I'll use the and only that.

Sure, you don't need power to read a book but if it's a technical book what're you going to do about implementing what you've learnt without a working computer to type it all in on?
