Journal Journal: US-Centricity of Slashdot

I like Slashdot. I like it so much that I subscribe to it. But every so often the USA-centric nature of Slashdot gets me down. Right now, I'm down on Slashdot. I am not going to say "Hey guys, what does the first W in WWW stand for?" or anything like that. Slashdot is a phenomenal loose social organisation that will not be changed by any call for change.

But I'm wondering if anyone else out there feels the way I do? And if so, can you recommend a site that has all the good things that Slashdot has, but does not assume that all (or most) of its readers/subscribers live in the country where the site is hosted?

Again, I like Slashdot a lot. I will continue to use it as my home page. But I need more :-)

That is all.
