How long is this damn "cool off period"? I mean its been a week already! Do I have to wait two weeks to learn my lesson? Which is what? That only some of us can use slashdot trolls/memes and expect not to get modded down into oblivion?
This is absolutely stupid.
I can't even get my karma back up when I can.

So I got my comment posting priviledges disabled today due to "excessive bad posting". Its pretty bad timing as its not everyday that I find an article or comment that I can reply well or meaningfully, well today I found one but I couldn't post anything. Its very frustrating to have you voice silenced right when you need to say something.
I think this is complete and utter bollocks, sure my karma was bad and I had a few Bad posts, but I also had quite a few +3 and +4s. I'm starting to think that the karma system is pretty messed up. I've heard a lot of people complain about it but never really understood what they meant, well now I do. I think it has too much weight on a -1 and too little on the positive moderation you recieve.
Plus how the hell are you supposed to fix your karma when you can't post? Its pretty stupid if you ask me, a warning of some sort should be displayed first and even emailed to you.
Well I guess it's time for me to "cool off".
Meh, maybe now I can get down to really studying for my finals.
