It's been a while since I wrote in my journal... so here goes. Running one's own mail server is cool... no spam as long as you are carefull who you give your address to. Even easier if you make accounts for the various businesses you have to give an email to. Got samba running on my server last week. Now I can keep my mp3's in a location safe from my tampering with my desktop. Plan to add a Mux to my list of servers soon, just to play around with.

I've finally decided to test the system by posting again today. It actually got moderated up. So now I almost have non-negative karma after some fools mod'd me off-topic when I replied to an off-topic thread.
