Journal Journal: Conciousness

In one of my philosophy classes, we determined that the backyards of our homes were conscious beings. We determined that consciousness must be a property of all that exists. This comes out of the recognition that we can imagine a conscious being that is distributed and has no internal representation of the self. Everything has experience and it communicates that experience in whatever ways it can given the laws of physics. Sometimes I'm concious by myself pretty much, but other times I am conscious with a bunch of people or plants or animals.

I wonder if I am conscious but just not recording very well when I am asleep.
