I was wondering if Microsoft makes any Physical Tharapy software for patients that have same day surgery.

Well I have used google, msn, yahoo search engines to find any site that can start me off with writing code and making fun small apps in C\C++. I have great books on C\C++ but they are very bland. I know the languages have been around for ages now so someone must have created this type of learning format (Keeping Fingers Crossed). I would love to learn the language inside and out but I keep running into a brick wall. So my fellow /.ers I turn to you for advise.

Heya all I am asking you all your opinions of a book I just picked up.

I am reading Programming Windows Fith Edition and wonding what you all think who have read it.

I am also wondering if there is any books out there that can give me a more basic clear answer to some of my questions.

What are some things I can do to teach myself C++. I just want to learn all I can but I have a problem with reading some of these books because they go into very detailed information when I need say noobie steps. Once I get the noobie steps down I can get into more advanced stuff like why certain syntax calls have a certain bit depth and so on.

Sometimes I feel like I got the short end of the intelligence stick.

Well I hope I didn't bore you all I just had to vent. Any advice is great and I do appreciate it.

Well on Jan 3 I start working in the A/V world. I have fallowed very well with the consumer technology but I don't know to much about high-end equipment. I know that the company uses alot of fiber connections so I have been looking around for fiber information. The best site I have found so far is http://www.lanshack.com/fiber-optic-tutorial-termination.asp I have also been trying to learn c++ but damn it is a very hard language to understand without any formal training. Well I have rambled on long enough so I will wish you all a very safe and happy new year.

I have started playing a MMORPG called Dark Ages of Camelot. This game is quite interesting. I have noticed that the people playing are very helpful and are more than willing to assist anyone who is new. This is the first MMORPG where people are like this. There is also something about the game that people are intrigued with. Crafting is easy and once someone explains it it becomes very helpful. The game also runs very well on a 16mb ati card which I must say is quite amazing. I have also played the game on a high end machine and it also looks very clean. There are quite a few bugs that need to be fixed and interface issues that need to be addressed. If I get a job at mythic I will post my ideas in the best form possible. I am going to be moving my family to Virginia very soon so I hope to apply to them as soon as I get down there.

I never thought learning could be so much fun when it came to C++. I am running into a couple of road blocks though. First thing is the MATH, unfortunantly I did not pay attention in school and I am kicking my self for it. The second is my short term memory. I have to go over things alot more than the normal person would wich is very frustrating. I also have an issue concentrating on one thing for more than 20 minutes. This also drives me crazy. Well this is my journal entry for the time being and hopefully I will have more progression by the next journal entry.

I am wondering if Microsoft is a good company to work for since it is such a monster? Maby one day I could have my own little piece of the technology pie. May the Geek Gods shine down on my with a diod light and a propeller hat and point me in the right direction with my creativity.
