Journal Journal: today

had a hard time getting up again this morning... and I'm even getting up later than normal. I think that I should try and get to bed a bit earlier more often. Anaya and I stretched last night and I slept so good. It's cool that she's down to hang out with me... It's pretty crazy that I'm into doing Yoga-type exercise.

Working at Mill today sucked serious ass. They have 5 minutes of a rush and then nothing for at least half an hour... I can't handle it. I'm going to beg Brian not to send me there anymore. You can't start any serious projects because you are interrupted every 20-30 minutes to help another 2 customers... It's just frustrating.

I don't have any cigarettes today but Anne was nice enough to bum me a few this morning while we were at work. One of the workers also had a rollie that he gave me... I suppose that it's time to get real about quitting that habit... just today, smoking less and all I'm already coughing stuff up. I have tomorrow off and I think that I'll not smoke tomorrow.

I read today that scientists have now successfully crossed a human with a rabbit(1993) :: sheep with human blood :: and a possible experiment that gives a rat a human brain.

My main thought about this at the moment is how many permutations of a single disease for each species are possible. If you think about it, this number grows exponentially for each additional species involved.

Journal Journal: ATI, Linux, Close Source Software

I just read an article on how ATI is in need of *beta testers* for their linux driver on 64 bit systems. As I was browsing through the comments, I thought to myself: "The Closed-Source model of design, whether related to software or hardware, is the reason there are pirates."
