Last few days have shown me that Slashdot got a taste of its own medicine and has been slashdotted: possibly overwhelmed by high volume of visitors. They may need to upgrade their hardware and/or software.

UPDATE 07/30/2005: Experienced it again! Amazing!

I see that my Karma is still on Bad status on Slashdot. Not sure what I did to deserve this. Maybe I didn't bash Microsoft or Western Capitalism enough recently or something. The 2 people who commented regarding this bad karma thing say that there is really no logic behind it so I am not worried. Those who gave me bad karma, well... I'll let the karmic energy of the universe to deal with them. Maybe it's the Church of Slashdot's way of guiltying everyone into creating interesting content so membership will increase. MLM. Oh, Vic20 Burrito and Marlboro Man Neil of the ancient root directory, show me way, show me the (gaudy neon case mod) light.
