Journal: Ubuntu Linux

I run Yellow Dog Linux Linux on my Apple iBook. I was told to check out Ubuntu Linux. I have to say I like it.

Key points about the new distro:

- 1 CD install
- Net based patches and package install
- Debian based
- Runs on AMD64, x86, PPC hardware
- 2.6 kernel based
- Gnome is the default GUI
