Journal Journal: Slashdot != Interesting

What has happened to Slashdot lately? It's completely uninteresting and rarely do I see anything I want to read more of. No longer do I see geek/nerdly news, but now ... Stories have taken on an increasingly more political tone.

Journal Journal: Slashdot vs. Digg

Time to go away Slashdot.

After being nauseated with piss poor moderation, enundated with trolls, reading stories that serve nothing more than paid advertisement and discussion that focuses not on the topic at hand but rather on whatever I've realized that I come here out of habit. I read slashdot not because it claims to be News that Matters, but rather because I've done so since 1998.

After discovering digg, I find it vastly superior, the stories come in greater numbers, the content more entertaining/interesting, and it's users more intelligent (albeit, some obviously not so mature)
