Journal: Let the force be with...Ticks?

Apparently, european ticks can use the force. A bacterium called Midichloria mitochondrii was discovered to be infecting the mitochondria of tick ovaries. I wonder if being bitten could eventually raise the layman's midiclhorian levels (though I don't think you'd want to in this case.) Wikipedia entry here.
