Search for "intelliJ IDEA" and try to find any mention of that on their page. Not quite so epic a failure in reality, was it?
Nice catch on the deal though.

I don't appreciate having to pay for the IDE for personal or educational use. IntelliJ can fuck off, back to Netbeans/Eclipse I go.
I've never seen Python do that on my systems. Those files (.pyc) don't appear until I actually cause them to be loaded for the first time. I think you're confusing what python does with what your distribution maintainers do
32-bit or 64-bit JVM?
If you're using the 64-bit, I don't think they have a client hotspot (optimized for quick-start) JVM, only the server (optimized for runtime throughput but with a long startup) one.
Fortunately that lovely lovely oil won't last forever.
There's a small difference between random citizens breaking the law in doing that, and the system of justice doing it itself. You should shut your own mouth.
... maybe because they want to study the behavior of an individual bacterium, and not a whole fucking colony?
it could very well have been a misclick. Whenever I manage to do it I try to post to null it out, though.
It's been happening ever since the web2.0 "rewrite"
Me to. If anyone somehow doesn't get the reference... this will do.
spammity spam!
Fuck off, Samzenpus.
Yes. They still exist, and it's even more important to listen now that the satellites don't.
The landing light can certainly help you judge your height at the critical moment.
Yes, 121.5mhz AM is International Air Distress (GUARD channel). It's also used by distress beacons etc. Not just aircraft monitor. Hell, I monitor in my car when I'm driving in the middle of nowhere. You never know - your hearing that personal locator beacon just might save someone's life.
If you can figure out how to work it, it's also useful to know how to set the transponder to squawk 7700 (emergency) or 7600 (radio failure). That last one might not help you land it, but at least ATC knows something is wrong and that they won't be able to communicate.
Don't forget he had no lights (and this was some tiny plane, so no ILS, glidescope etc).
Damn fine job considering.
The way notepad++ does it works superbly well. You get visually low-contrast dots or arrows indicating what kind of white-space it is. It's there, and it's visible - but it's not distracting. (you have to turn this on btw)
It's a naive, domestic operating system without any breeding, but I think you'll be amused by its presumption.
