Submission + - Microsoft extends XP Home support through 2014

Unoriginal Nick writes: Microsoft Watch is reporting this morning that Microsoft extended Windows XP Home and Media Center support to match that of XP Professional. Support was supposed to end 2 years after Vista was released, but under the new life cycle, they will enter extended support in April 2009, so critical security updates will be available for an additional five years.
