The Bible does, however, have a hell of a lot to say about liberal policies like caring for the poor and needy, for loving your enemy, etc. If I recall correctly, there's even a thing about rich people and camels and eyes of needles in there too.

Actually, the Bible has a lot to say about INDIVIDUALS caring for the poor, loving your enemy, that sort of thing. Christ ALWAYS talks about INDIVIDUALS there, not mandated by government. Christ focuses on the heart of the person. He wants me to care for the poor and needy MYSELF, from the goodness of my heart. Not forced by way of government action.

I'm all for the convenience and whiz-bang factors associated with gadgets. But sometimes, for cases like this, the old-fashioned KISS principle holds true. When I leave my house, I simply turn the lock button and the deadbolt knob and I know the door is secure. I don't have to worry about a hacker or dead batteries or bad wifi or any of that to know my home is secure.

Our company allows people to work from home fairly easily, but I've been at the office as much as I can. Fairly small staff and thoroughly cleaning everything. I'm also No. 2 in the company so it is helpful to be on premises.

Home is a different, and very fluid, story. My wife is a nurse, as is her sister. Obviously a nurse cannot work from home. On the contrary. No infections (yet) in our city, Lincoln, Neb., but it is only a matter of time. We are helping each other out with child care. My wife only works weekends while her sister works weekdays. A particularly interesting challenge is actually my wife's schooling. She's been an LPN (licensed practical nurse) for nearly 20 years and is in her last semester of school to get her RN. But hospitals are shutting down access for students. Meaning it's not certain how she and the others in her class will be able to complete their clinical hours.

To me, that seems incredibly stupid. In the midst of a health care crisis or soon-to-be crisis, I would think the hospitals, etc., would want to get those students through the system and into the workforce as reasonably fast as possible.

OK, so no one has any idea where they are coming from or who owns them. And any official entity denies any involvement.

In that case, go ahead and shoot one down. Perfect way to see who owns them by who complains. "Oh, that was your flying thing? Sorry, I was aiming for the clay pigeons with my buddies and it flew in the way right as I fired."
