Going back to the original topic of how hot the salt is .. if you stuck one hand in molten salt that was 810.777 kelvin and the other hand in molten salt that was 800 kelvin could you tell the difference ?

To mere mortals 800 kelvin or 1000 Fahrenheit is perfectly acceptable :-)

I'm sorry I really don't believe you ... can you provide me the details of your truck wioth a 600amp battery ? And explain how you are still alive while workign with such larga ampage DC current, then explain a bit more on how the server connected to the UPS stayed up after you shut the UPS down ? I'm also wondering how the servers didn;t melt with 600amps coming into the 12v lines

It's P2P, you can't hide your IP from someone when they ask for a bit of movie file and your computer cheerfully sends it! It's the equivilant of the police walking down your street shouting "Are their any thieves here ?", and you sticking your head out the window to shout back "Yes Me me me! I'm a thief!!" ;-)

The best you can do is not respond to requests from IPs on a block list ... or steal Wifi from a poorly secured neighbour.

Comment Why make life hard ... use your family! (Score 2, Interesting) 312

(This is of course assuming you have any family, friends or a FB and you trust them)

1) Buy a pen and paper
2) Write how much you have free on your credit card at the top.
3) Every time you buy something subtract the amount from the amount left on your credit card
4) Have you credit card statements go to your family member, trusted friend or FB
5) Authorize with the bank your family member/friend/FB to handle payments of your credit card from your bank account
6) If you need extra money .. phone your family member/friend/FB and have them transfer it

If you really want, you could always learn the PGP algorithm and apply it to the numbers written on your paper manually.

Now is that so hard ?

A true American response :-) Here people are supposed to do as they are told, not do what they want ... in theory ... If you'd like to see what rights we do have, go here : http://www.justice.govt.nz/pubs/other/pamphlets/bill_of_rights/bill_rights.pdf Don't worry it's a very short document ;-)
