It goes farther though. They take money anywhere they can steal or pilfer it and then funnel it back to their main constituents who want stuff(dollars).

The question is why this is even legal. It's a form of kickback and VOTEBUYING.

think of how many elections have been unfairly determined by this form of vote buying.

Google books is great. They don't even give you all the pages. So whats the problem? I think i know. Once someone reads enough pages they find out the information is superfluous - it's overrated.

They don't want people to just scan the books because they lose out on those sales by people who make the quick sale or the sale over amazon where they don't let you read some pages. Yeah Amazon used to allow you to look at a few pages but the idiot book companies threatened them too.

Threading i don't count as parallel processing for the desktop. I don't even hear of any games or applications built for parallel.

Something like Itanium with the compiler doing all the hard work was interesting - instruction level parallelism.

We may need to build smart compilers that do the programming for us. All we will do is describe what we want.

They are colluding to start charging at unison.

They don't want a few like USA today or another to stay FREE.

Criminal. Newspapers and Cable TV channels are about $$$ for their owners and not providing just news.

They are making money from their websites but they will always always want more.

William Randolph Hearst - google it. They also own TV channels across the country. They hate the internet.
