If you get the Mozilla crash reporter check for a crash id in ~/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted/ are there any crash ids?

Because it has not been released, if it was it would be where all the other betas are. ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ There would be an announcement to https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/announce-prerelease . There would be download links at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html What they are linking to is a possible build of Firefox 4 beta 1.

If you are on Windows or Mac OS X try typing about:crashes in the address bar should provide some crash reports. If you would like reply to this with the ids and I'll take a look.

Most distros disable the crash reporter, such as Ubuntu.

These things never went past the blog post stage. A plugin/code was never released for either Chrome Frame or ScreamingMonkey.

replaces the drop down arrow in the tab bar with a button that does tab preview switching

browser.ctrlTab.previews
replaces ctrl + tab with a desktop like tab switcher that shows a preview of the windows

Or you can just use the UI in the Options/Preferences in privacy, When using the location bar, suggest history only. More details at Smart Location Bar, Controlling behavior
