Sandra Fluke testified about several friends who needed BC for medical conditions and were denied due to religious objections (despite having health insurance). Conservatives said that was ridiculous because they listened to what Rush said about her instead of listening to her actual words. It seems you fall into this camp as well.

What you're referring to are called "dram shop laws". They do not prohibit serving someone who is likely to drive home. They prohibit (or establish liability from) serving someone who is intoxicated. And these laws exist because the general principle is that enabling a crime via a legal transaction is not a crime and does not establish liability.

Why not just use the arrow keys? That way, the up and down are properly aligned and you can never accidentally shift to the left or right. Then use the insert/delete/home/etc. block of keys for reload, crouch, etc. You can also use parts of the numpad (sometimes) and the keys on the right of the main keyboard area.

It is an old system based on the cold war, not really relevant today but it has stuck around. 1st world: US/UK/Western Europe, 2nd world: USSR/China/Eastern Europe, 3rd world: everyone else. Since a lot of the 'everyone else' was lesser developed countries, the term 'third world' has come to represent that status.

A modern coal plant will still emit a lot of pollutants. For example, the latest NOx standard is 0.76 lb/MWh. Sounds small, but your average plant is 600-700 MWh, so you're talking ~500 lb/hr. For sulfur it's 1.2 lb/MWh so you're talking ~800 lb/hr.

Sure, it's less than the old plants (the thing about oil plants is a strawman since no one has built or modified an oil plant in decades, per EPA records). But "almost no".. not really.
