It's funny. Laugh.

Journal Journal: What I Meant Was. . .

I understand that it's a society wide insult. Kind of like idiot and moron being actual levels on the IQ scale. It's just that calling someone an idiot implies lower intelligence; that's an actual insult. Calling someone a fag implies that they are a male who likes other males; that's not really an insult unless you're homophobic, which means you actually have some real issues that need to be dealt with. I mean, I think you would have to be mentally handicapped to be homophobic. But I digress. . .

What I really wonder about all the homophobic "trolls" and "trolls" in general is whether every single troll poster thinks that they are just being funny, and pretending to be homophobic because they think it will make the truly homophobic very, very uncomfortable, or if they really believe that they are insulting someone, because they are truly homophobic, and thus mentally handicapped.

I admit I post a fair ammount of "you wanna suck my dick" and goatse crap because it's he-frickin-larious when I'm really, really bored at work. Goatse is just unbelievably shocking if you haven't seen it. Usually I try to stay on topic, or post a pro-marijuana blurb, but I just think it's funny to try and get as many people as possible to see what it is.

Or, you could give me your opinion on Q-ray. How does this work? Why are there people crying on the informercials when they give their testimonials?

Journal Journal: Homosexuality 2

Why is everyone so afraid of homosexuality on /.?

Every article has at least one mention of "that's so gay" or whatever. Is there that many closet cases here? Or is it just more of an ignorance, a sublime mediocrity if you will. Kind of like people having babies with out thinking.
