Or maybe they have the genes to find ways to propagate the faulty genes. And that makes them in my book good genes. So fuck you and your "high moral ground" and think about the children of the world.
What do you mean? Sarah Palin is not a character played by Tina Fey in a SNL sketch?
"At 12 the mens rea fairy hits you in the head and you get the magic ability to tell right from wrong."
Thank you for the image you put in my head!
And for all that stumbled like me that didn't know what "mens rea" is:

Am I the only one who searched for Homeworld intro when I read this?
Have you seen the size of a normal sim and it's holding cradle in most of the phones? In my nokia the sim holder is more then 3 time the size of the sim, not considering the underlining connectors and the structure around it. It may seem small, but it ads up.
I hate small phones, but I think if you could make a smaller sim, it could be better.
OK. So my 1.3l multijet diesel that gets like 47mpg (5l/100km) in city and depending on my driving more or less outside (3.3-5.5/100km) gives out more soot then your average american car?
Or not. All you need is a phone with white listing... even my first Ericsson had that.
Exactly - here, in Romania, if you want to make a transaction you need to input 2 separate codes from a token - once to log in (you are logged out if you don't use the application/webpage/whatever for a few minutes depending on the bank) and once to approve the transaction.
The new tokens from my bank are a pain in the ass - you need a token/a card/the sum you want to transfer and a pin just to make the transaction, the old token was simpler - you needed only the token and the pin.
Nahhh... we should check if Weyland Industries has anything to do with this.
Why would you do that, the joke just got a new twist.
Like - "In Soviet Russia the government controls the commerce!" and many more that are so funny, like a meta joke.
Forget Kodak.... does anyone remember Polaroid? Last time I heard about them it was in a study about companies unable to change with times. It was the perfect "razor blade" business. Now I can't wait for a company kick Gilette's ass... good damn blade are good, but you have to buy more.
I run a small computer service... I'm must say I was tempted to do just what the other poster said. But hell just because of that temptation I just make a small script to grab anything relevant from C: dump it in D: or whatever storage the client wants it and never look at anything they have in there. If they have and explicit request I go find the files and sort them, but only if they ask.
I once had to recover some pictures from an SD... the client was a bit strange in her request, she wanted to assist all the process. Seeing this I just showed here how to undelete the files and how to move them to her thumb drive and never even looked at what she recovered. She was so happy about this that I still have her as a client after 3 years.
As a member of the former roaming tribes of barbarians that invaded and pillaged Europe I'm displeased by the use of "vandals" in this context.
