Oh here you go, just as an update to see that the monitor doesn't actually do what you said:

1280x720.
1400x1050 isn't a "wide screen", it's 4:3. A wide screen display at that resolution would be 1680x1050.
But you're obviously a friggin genius and couldn't see through a technical error on the site. I guess google doesn't make you intelligent after all.
Almost!
There's a great interview by Dan Lane with a chap from Sonim about the phone / Land Rover deal over at The Really Mobile Project. It's a few weeks old if that tells you anything about the
In spite of all the many controversies his music was groundbreaking and inspired multiple generations. If the allegations against him are true, well he's already paid the price now and there's nothing we can do about it.
Let's not forget a larger than usual number of celebrities and notables died in the last few days also. A sad week for the entertainment industry as a whole.
Up until I was 7 years old we lived in an old house with an upstairs attic that had the same floorspace as the two bedrooms combined. You could only get up there with a stepladder. I remember it as this big room that hadn't been decorated in decades so the wallpaper was peeling and the carpet was all torn up. No electricity other than a light. The only furniture was some old mattresses we pulled up there and an ever rotating supply of toys.
Coolest. Den. Ever.
The new owners turned it into a third bedroom. Idiots.
Well, depends on what you call "primary".
-My laptop at work gets shut down every day but it's not technically a reboot, it gets "rebooted" whenever I install a patch or software that needs it.
-My 2008 box which I also use as my desktop I reboot only if I really, really have to since it has so many VMs running on it. In practise it starts acting weird if I leave it on for more than a couple of months and needs to be rebooted. Probably a memory leak somewhere.
-My UNIX boxes gets rebooted about twice a year if an important patch comes out, or I'm testing something.
I gave up the penis growing max uptime game years ago, I hit 450 days on a Linux box once and it only went down after a powercut. I'd rather have a current security patch, thanks.
One side of my family all seem to die young from cancer, but then again they all had unhealthy lifestyles.
The other side live well into their 80s and 90s. I'm hoping for 100+ but we'll see. If I don't see my Grandkids I'll be very upset.
A couple of my CFLs are approaching the 4 year mark (they stay on all night) and they take about 2 minutes to get to full brightness now. When they where new it was more or less instant.
Call me strange, but I have a Sun Model 6 (one of the newer USB ones) and it's the best keyboard I've ever owned. I've been clocked at 145 wpm and my fingers never feel tired.
A perfect way for the Large Hadron Collider guys to avoid the bad press and legal threats! Just call up the MythBusters and have them do it.
"In this episode we'll see if our particle accelerator creates world eating black holes!"
We do that already, but you still don't get proper rest. Bear in mind also our kids are all below the age of 6.
Yep, been there done that. Driving home after a 36 hour shift I blinked as I was pulling out of work and suddenly I was half way home. I blinked again and I was in the driveway.
I did surreptitiously check for dings in my truck afterwards but apparently I didn't hit anything (I hope!).
The next time my work made me do that, I got someone to come pick me up instead.
Anyone who has kids will understand this, 3 sick children recently meant we both went about 5 days with maybe 8 hours sleep total
I think the longest I've gone without any sleep at all is 4 days. I used to regularly go 24-48 hours in college, but that was due to staying up all night partying.
Tried it, the local gun range said "HELL no!". I wish I knew someone with a bunch of land somewhere who didn't mind me doing target practise.
So, anyone in Central Florida who has a bunch of land and doesn't mind - please drop me a line
