I have the classic index but the discussions where messed up.
I unchecked somthing about "Dynamic" under Discussions in the preferences (can't see exactly what since that page now doesn't look the same) and I got slashdot back to the way I wanted.

Yes, there is an error in the Fox News article. Here is a quote from the official site instead:

Submission + - Swedish Pirate Party to Host New WikiLeaks Servers (piratpartiet.se) 1

Ezel writes: The Pirate Party will host several new WikiLeaks servers. This was agreed during Julian Assange’s visit to Stockholm last weekend, and the Pirate Party is happy to announce that everything has been finalized.
Last week, the Pirate Party challenged the other Swedish parties to assist WikiLeaks in its democratic effort. The Pirate Party has been the first to step up uo the plate, and keeps calling on others to defend freedom of the press in Sweden. As a result, WikiLeaks have commissioned a number of new servers that will be hosted and taken care of by the Pirate Party.

The Pirate Party will provide bandwidth and hosting to WikiLeaks free of charge as part of its political mission.

If you already has a party that has the politics you want (The Green Party) then join them and work from the inside if you feel that going the new-party-road is to hard in France. The swedish pirates has a culture of seeing their party as a way to 'hack' the political system, just as one would hack a computer system. The new-party-exploit might be patched in France, but there usually is another way to get influence.

And also, you French guys have La Quadrature du Net which is doing some great work. Joining them would be a good start if your not already active there.

It's coming to all other countries around the world too. The United Nations have been pushed to accept a Resolution to Combat Defamation of Religion that would bar worldwide all criticism of religions.

These are dangerous times, just like all other times before. If democracy and freedom of speech isn't practiced it will erode away before our eyes.

The Amiga Music Preservation project doesn't seem to recognize this which is why I refuse to let them take part of my own module-compilation. They are spreading the hard work of a lot of amiga-musician and then in some weird fashion refuses to let others use the fact-collection. I quote from their FAQ at http://amp.dascene.net/faq.php
Can I export part or all of AMP's composer database and use it in my website?
No way! AMP's composer database is the result of many years spent on gathering and sorting information. In order to avoid legal prosecution we recommend you not to include any part or mirror our database in your website.

Now, that's some crappy attitude.

Comment Please implement it better than Linux Mint! (Score 1) 370

I hope their solution is better than what the Linux Mint distribution does. The Google-results from the Mint-search is really poor compared to Firefox-search. And also the way they have implemented their Mint-search makes it almost as hard to go back to Normal-Firefox-search as deleting spyware in Windows. Just take a look at the instructions below. Might not be that hard for Linux-pros, but it's way harder than what the Firefox-crew meant it to be:
