Do you realize that the Bonneville Power Administration (or Authority?) way overproduces electricity and could run at much higher capacity full time instead of turning off generators at night? Have you heard the hum of powerline wires? Can you imagine so much excess electricity crammed into the wire not demanded anywhere that it tries to arc into thin air?

What is the objective emotional content in the above sentence? Does the use of capitals indicate, a lot?
How much force will you be willing to use to make me submit to your scientific theories?

Why should I believe dark matter is any more likely an explanation than magic for gravitaional rotation curves, when you tell me I simply must have faith that it can't be detected?

What if gravity is not the primary force driving orbits? How do you know that electricity is not playing a greater role, or some other force your sensors are too blunt to detect?
Why do you have so much of an emotional investment in demeaning other theories, rather than working on the parts of your own theory that you know don't quite make sense even to you, deep in your heart of hearts?
If you include intellectually honest error margins in your theories, can you actually exclude any other theory, as crazy as your mood affiliation leads you to believe?

Remember that recent slashdot article showing magnetic fields in the center of our galaxy? What if those fields are bending light, rather than the "dark matter" that the current consensus believes?
What are the actual, intellectually honest margins of error on observations?
What if you simply acknowledged that your theories have huge margins of error that allow opposite theories to claim data support?
Why must it be your way, or the highway?
Can't we all just get along?
In a hundred or a thousand years, will they look back on us and think did we get anything right? How were the Romans able to build bridges that stand the test of time, while thinking heavier objects fell faster than lighter ones?
