Doing anything but having your undivided attention on driving will lower your ability to drive and increase the risk of having an accident

You have a driving licence to prove you can drive safely, and can be fined/jailed for the lack of quality of your driving so this is your responsibility

43,000 die as the result of traffic collisions in the USA each year... that's more than 14 9/11's every year ....

Adding any distraction should be considered dangerous

One problem "Monsanto"

They produce most of the GMO that people are aware of, are notorious for suppressing any study that they do not like, for not publishing results, for patenting entire plants, for suing poor farmers who never bought their seed, for poisoning the environment .... etc ....

They may not be typical of GMO companies, but they are the poster child and best known, and are the worst possible advert for GMO ....

Unlike Communism FOSS projects and distros can make money, (See e.g. Red Hat, Canonical etc ..) and so can pay people to do the shitty jobs that otherwise would not get done

The USSR had for a large part of it's history a large army standing around with nothing to do, so yes they got them to do jobs that others did not want to do....see also the US army when they are not busy ....

If the US government wants to shut Wikipedia down then they would have to shut down a rather large number of replica sites as well, the content is backed up all over the world in many cases outside the control of the USofA ....

They could fairly quickly kill the master site (to huge protest around the world) but the content would be safe elsewhere ...
