I had a real problem today. Some how my window title got stuck under the bar at the top. No way to get the window back apart from to close it and open it again. It has a lot of shitty problems like this. I like it but the whole bar at the top thing needs to go. It's such a pain using gimp now for example or even worse. Full screen an app and you can't move other windows around until you click in that app so it get's context.
And with Linux, things stay fixed.
Only if you're talking about the Kernel itself. With distros it's a completely different matter. Upgrading my ubuntu laptop has broken nautilus (the file manager), the basic window management, everything. Even with these fuckups it's still better but don't pull the wool over people's eyes.
Doesn't really mean much when Beth Softworks founded the company. You make it sound like Zenimax came in and bought Beth Softworks which isn't the case. They simply created Zenimax to do all the legal mumbo jumbo and keep Beth Softworks out of the press when they sue people.
It's difficult to do in open source because of the shared vision. When building an open source project and getting contributions everyone must be "on the same page" hence why you see a lot of clones because everyone already understands what the idea is and can rally around it.
Ah yes, the stereotypical programmer.. You're either a genius or an idiot. You must be real fun to work with.
In the UK we use an exclusion based process to finding suspects. What the means is the police gather evidence to disprove someone committed a crime rather then build a case around someone. If you're being arrested then it's most likely too late and anything handed over on a hard disk will probably be the last piece of the puzzle rather then the first.
I don't need the ADA or other bullshit rules to tell me that I should stop to let a blind person cross the street, even in the event that I would have the right of way.
Unfortunately the world isn't made up of you and without these rules then they'd be no way to punish those that say "there was no rule, there's nothing I was doing wrong!"
If they give rid of "Anonymous Cowards" like you then they would have done the world a service. Please go away forever.
No they don't, they mistakenly collected extra data packets, once, which they owned up to as soon as it was found out.
That's not relevant; a company doesn't care about such things. In fact the majority of people don't care about this.
iPad isn't a mobile browser, it's a tablet browser. It's a bigger screen size and useless data to combine when you're trying to figure out which device (which only has 600 pixels max) you should target first.
Rather then pick a news website I actually dug up some stats..

It's behind both opera and android with the trend that android is gaining more traction.
Not only that but your typical iPhone owner is going to be the first to ditch their product for the latest shiny which is even less incentive to waste money dealing with it.
Try it on GIMP with the three windows open.
What's so bad about NaCi? Sandboxed, multiple platform support, open source? buh?
Somebody ought to cross ball point pens with coat hangers so that the pens will multiply instead of disappear.
