As a foreigner, I may just be talking out of my arse here, but perhaps a constitutional amendment is in order?

I pay less for 500GB/month at 100mbit today than I did for 80GB/month at 20mbit five years ago.
However, I do wish that locally mirrored content wasn't counted towards quotas. Then maybe we could somewhat reduce (not eliminate) our relative reliance on our international links
That doesn't really mean much, since there have been many more Godwins than decent threads when it comes to slashdot
A guy can ejaculate a lot more frequently than a woman can get pregnant and give birth. While people may not think about it consciously, it's the relative scarcity (or abundance) of the genetic material produced by either gender at play.
Look up super-heating, think about it for a second, realize you are a moron.
Read the thread progression, think about it for a second, realize you are an asshole.
Communication serves a purpose: the propagation of useful ideas. If you weren't an asshole and you were still compelled to post, the least you could've done was post a snippet summary of a wikipedia article that demonstrated how superheated steam is a terrible idea. The LMGTFY equivalent can come after someone has asked a stupid question.
Let me guess, you are from the participation generation? You want a warm fuzzy for adding noise to the discussion? A participation trophy?
Being of an older generation doesn't make one right. Facts make one right. Or do you worship the collective conflicting primitive superstition of the sum of your ancestors? Because they came before you.
I wasn't aware that there were either laws that require employers to pay older workers significantly higher salaries than fresh graduates or that older workers would rather starve and go homeless than work for a lower salary.
Because manufacturing goods is more important than feeding the world population?
When my father was in prison a few years ago (here in Australia) the most sophisticated console he was permitted to was a PSone. Because you could play DVDs on a Play Station 2, and that was a no no.
Accused != charged != convicted. Extraditions are for the latter two. Or would it be equitable if a country -accused- you of committing a crime and set about extraditing you into their custody?
If Assange committed rape then they should charge him for rape. I'm not sure how it's supposed to be any more complicated than that. Sure, die hard supporters will never believe, but for the rest of us it'd make the whole thing smell less fishy
That 30 seconds of cursor blinking? The bootloader hack that you used to make your unlicensed copy of Windows 7 think that it's genuine is waiting for feedback from the bios. The 30 seconds is how long it takes to give up and continue booting. There are other/newer hacks that avoid that issue.
Funny, I always thought that science was about reproducibility
And lobbyists
I think you're wrongly assuming that members of Congress read laws
I think the "Freedom of Speech" became freedom to make noise some time ago. There's a lot more noise going on than speech these days, or at least that's what gets the attention of people. Bread and Circuses and Two Minutes' Hate for everybody!
Because the fact that murder is illegal means that nobody ever kills anyone
However, the people who illegally possess such guns in this country (Australia) generally aren't going to use them against scientists so much as dispatching competitors in their illicit businesses ie. gang/mob violence.
