It seems every few weeks computer scripts come out that can decode current captchas, and web developers retaliate by making them even more difficult for us to read. Some of these last captcha designs, including recaptcha, are so difficult to make out to where it takes a good few seconds of thinking what it could possibly be — I'm pretty sure a computer would have an easier time guessing what the word is than I would.

I came across a press release on DIGG of a new style of captcha that's extremely easy to read (takes a second to click 3 times), but which computers would require immense computing power and complex software to crack. I really do hope this kind of captcha becomes the standard on the web.

Heh he was always kind of a spaz on things like this, he wouldn't really get the technical details of things so he'd jump the gun and then later have to go back on it.
