Frankly I am old enough and bitter enough to just want kids like that off my lawn, my neighboors lawn, and if they are loud enough, the field next to it as well for that matter.
From BBC news - "But local people, fearing a rave was going to take place after previous events with loud music at the same premises, alerted the police."
In other words, this bunch were notorious around town for partying all through the night, playing loud music and generally being a pain in the ass to everybody else. They may have been just barbequeing when the police showed up, but the locals knew what was comming and decided enough was enough.
It seems unlikely that that many people would be allergic.
It couldn't have been toxic gases from mixing of the cleaning agents or the lady doing the cleaning would certainly have been affected most. Not being able to smell doesn't give you immunity to toxic gases.
Likely the people just felt ill because of the bad smell and felt the need to see a doctor about it.
All the developer tools were spun off a couple of years ago into CodeGear, which was bought by Embarcadero last year.
All those tools you knew are still alive and well. Delphi 2009 is the best native Win32 developer tool in the world and the language is experiencing a renaissance with the addition of new language features such as generics and anonymous methods. The whole environment has recieved major upgrades as well, which has also benefitted C++ builder, since they use the same IDE. They are also really starting to nail down the documentation side, which honestly has been the suits weak point for years.
By the way, there are free trial versions! Check them out!
No need to wait.
