"Package managers haven't been sexy. Until now." , how the term "sexy" could be applied to a package manager? It means appealing?, in which sense?. assuming it means something that appeals (in some way). What could be more appealing that it works the way it was intended to be?

Well, in theory the so called democracy isn't to elect the best for the people, its for what the people (supposed) wants more; some sort of coliseum games. btw; I have been your comments related to altimeters/FAA/5G, and You seems to be an old sea wolf (no offense intended) in several fields, if it isn't too much bother, could You suggest me some bibilography about RF/Altimeters/Normative; I am someone related to electronics, aviation and the regulations about it and I'm trying to carry out a test to verify/deny in order to pass it to a board and try to release and ammend over aeronautic/aeronavigation safety over there. But first I want to update the state of the art, develop a methodology and process to run on field and the proper evaluation. This is strictly personal (In the sense I'm doing it on my own and without paywall of anyone and anything). And I'm aware it is a long shot , (and in fact, it's clear there are interference, not only with the radar devices but all electronic/electric devices , power lines, etc, the quid is to assest if this is enough to tamper or alter to a dangerous level the operation of the instruments). Thanks in advance and sorry if this bother You. Greetings. -- Don't you know that I'm still standing better than I ever did? Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid

I dont think, its a bit stalled, but its as stable, usable and viable (and resources consuming) as always has been. It is solid, the fact it doesnt spurt a new version every x time, doesnt mean its at fault or its going to dissapear. Its true this doesnt have the activity of a couple of years ago, but doesnt forget the model of open source, and when no one needs it, this will be gone.

I think the use of grandma friendly its an error. It must be affordable to work whih everyone that needs or wants to. I dont say its a no good thing the chromium os, but I dont think it fits everyone needs , or it can take other approachs to do the same. Imagine this, a user with limited/low bandwith that expects to work with a chromium terminal..and needs to work now. Well, you are gonna to tell , there is little users in this side, but there is. And think of the say , its not wise to put all the eggs in the same basket (or like it must be saying in english) It recalls me of the time I was working in the it and we were selling machines with light versions of * linux distro , and then for ripping a cd you had to download the whole gnome 2 files over 28.8kbps. Chrome OS/Chromium OS is a Linux-based operating system designed by Google to work exclusively with web applications. Its way different than the easy to use grandma friendly linux desktop. Not everyone only needs to surf the net or check their mail,f,y,t* account . Perhaps Mint is more suited to this. PD. I dont support mir
