Also, wouldn't the giant ship in the middle of the ocean be a good guess on where that blast came from? Speaking lasers have to fire in a line we wouldn't be planning any trajectories to shoot from where they cant see us to begin with.

It would be more probable that the mission is a success because if this means millions more dollars for the business the president/CEO will throw everything he has at the project to ensure its success. Now if we want to debate morals and ethics of the owners and "bean counters" of these companies that is a whole other side of the coin. But more than likely for company image and reputation with the chances of substantial profit gain they probably won't be cutting any corners.

Well seeing as how you can put a lazy boy in a cardboard box and shoot me into space I would be quite comfortable until my box exploded. I would be more comfortable as a crew member knowing the exterior of my wessel was sturdy and well designed.

Technology has been making some huge leaps and bounds over the past few years, it is almost hard to believe a few years ago I was playing Ultima Online lol. Indeed, but i usually ride with sneakers half the time mostly because I ride to work on it. I should get a good pair of riding shoes/boots but I am too lazy/frugal to go out and do that. So I will just sandpaper my shoes down some more or learn to stop then put my feet down lol.

Boots, Sneakers, Dress shoes (Black and Brown if necessary) and that is all. I usually wear my shoes out before I even think about getting a new pair and especially since I ride a motorcycle I tend to have the bad habit of dragging my feet to a stop and I ended up sanding my shoes down to no sole lol. This tends to make me have to buy new shoes every couple years at the latest.

That is a lot of AA batteries powering that car! Also did these people try doing a battery pull then booting the car into the boot loader and restoring to default? Were they trying to root it?
