The place where one of my friends work has this policy in place because the factory workers cannot wear headphones, so the office workers can't wear them either. I remember reading some kind of rumor about WinMo or WinCE being dropped with all of the effort going to just one of the technologies. Of course, it could have just been someone's opinion of how MS should continue in the market...

I'm 23, I have the DS and PSP. The PSP has become my mobile media player and the DS is my mobile gaming device. Once I get a DSi and/or a homebrew card, the only purpose I have for the PSP is finishing Tactics (again, but with new stuff) and Crisis Core, which isn't very engaging and I haven't played it in months...

I imagine the little slot car tracks running from city to city and now I want to buy 20 sets to run around my house. I wonder how many teenagers/idiots/rednecks will attempt to pull some kind of prank or worse...

Actually, it really depends on how good the IT/ET units are. A good unit will follow that DoD reg. for overwriting the drive, then proceed to vent some frustration on the hard drive through creative means, and then they will turn them in to the proper disposal authority. Lazy/greedy units will just sell them on eBay or throw them in a dumpster where may civilian will pick it up and sell it on eBay or use it.
