Did you check on what they are actually doing. Wicked lasers is not connecting their device to light sabers, it is other online reviews of their product that are doing that. Go after the sites posting the reviews, not the manufacturer for making the connection. Their device looks more like a normal flashlight than a light saber.

The best thing that these guys could do, would be to make a logical push to help Linux get deployed at large business. Hitting back at the "mean" superpower will accomplish nothing but make them look like jerks. Get the masses to work against MS and then the can get something done. Most of the vulnerabilities that have been found recenlty require so many, what-if's to be in place before they work that it is unlikely that anything will be put in the wild to take advantage of this. Would be much easier to create a Flash based attack on the general public and be done with it. I am sure that MS weights the potential use of the threat when they develop a plan of which items to fix. The assumption is always, that the newest item that we know about is the most dangerous, but that is just a narrow perception of what is going on.

I wonder if they will have to stop giving out crayons at Dennys and other places for kids. I know that makes me want to eat there. I suggest that there is little that you can purchase at most chain restaurants that would fall in a menu plan put out by a dietician. I suggest they should tax the meals $50 each if they do not come up to good health standards and maybe people will eat at home. Of course then they will just pop out some boxed dinner which may be even worse.

This will make it much easier to take down the government. We will only need 100 bombers to take the data centers offline instead of 1,100. Just think how many fewer families we will have to reward for that.

Actually, it does sound like a good idea, but after working for larger companies, it will not go as smooth as they would like since someone will be holding onto an old AS/400 that no one knows how to change the IP configuration and the pointers to the printers.

I feel sorry for the people that are already deathly afraid of flying since they will be the ones taken aside and questioned and further searched before getting on the plane. It will surely reduce air travel and thus reduce the number of people at risk.

I think random searches will be about as effective as what is done today. Security checkpoints are just a warm fuzzy for people traveling. I could still get guns onto an airplane if there was enough motivation to do so. The attacks from long ago now could be completed the same way because the guns came from the tarmack. Smuggled in in some other items that were to be shipped.

Spend the money on tracking people down before they get to the airport. That is where we can stop terrorists. If someone is caught at the airport checkpoint it will cause as much scare as them setting something off on the plane.

This is a problem since there are commercials and magazine articles that tout the benefits. If all of them were created to some standard and it was proven to work, then it is fine, otherwise they should just be able to say. This product may do something for some people and no more.
