An anonymous reader writes: MenuetOS is a fully 64bit assembly written OS for x86. Latest improvements include a sub millisecond audio latency, up to 100 000 hz process scheduler and improvements to time-critical processes. Other features include a transparent GUI, which is calculated in the main x86 cpu, without the need for gpu calculations.

GlowingCat writes: Menuet is a 100% assembly written 64bit operating system with pre-emptive multitasking. Latest improvements include SMP support with upto 32 processors and streaming audio and video (mp3/mpeg2) support. Also non-preempting processes are supported for time-critical applications. Menuet calculates GUI transparency in the main x64 CPU, avoiding compatibility and stability problems with various graphics cards.

The problem is more related to open source projects in general, not Linux. So forking and starting a new one doesn't really solve the original problem.

My personal favorite F-35 issue is that the F-35B model can't fly in areas where it might be struck by lightning, because that could cause the fuel tanks to explode.

Well, lets hope the opponent doesn't start an offensive during a thunderstorm :)

It looks like the video shows the lag of the rocket thrusts reaction. First the thrust is vectored right and it stays right even after the tipping point. And after being several seconds late it vectors to left, causing the excess force.

32 bit Menuet is open source. 64bit Menuet freely available.

Maybe kernel or driver code writing to HPET counter accidentally. Kernel and drivers both have access to same unlimited memory space, right ?

I agree, cultural context is important when considering TV series from any time-period. The idea of space travel series was exceptional and brilliant at the 60's.
