Last year a friend got a 65inch TV from amazon and when opened up the box there was a scratch, albeit a very small scratch on the back. He complained to Amazon to get it returned and they just sent his a new TV to replace and did not have to return the other one as it was not worth it
A lot of major brands are slowly disappearing from Amazon as they can't really complete with the rip-off and crap fakes because everybody mostly buys the cheapest!!
I agree
Some reviews give 5 stars and the person then states "I have not used it yet". Reviews like this should be deleted by the AI as they are just useless. Just the same as reviews where the person gives 1 star and then states "The item was stolen from my porch" which again is a useless review.
Just like louis rossmann who complained about the junk electrical crimps he bought and yet these same useless crimps are still appearing at the top of the listings with many dumb folk giving out 5 star reviews just because the item got delivered.
Agree, would be so much easier especially if it's a long passphrase.
Another thing which is happening is that thieves are beginning to target phones which are in use (ie currently unlocked), they steal the phone from the user and make their getaway on the back of a motorbike/moped while keep touching the screen to prevent the phone from locking, once at a safe distance they then set about draining the accounts etc and keeping the phone from locking. Had this happen to a work colleague a few weeks back, so we need away to lock the screen even while the phone is in use maybe by continuous face recognition though.
When is tonight? I don't see an estimated eta in UTC, so is it tonight USA time or Tonight European time or tonight is Asian time?
This is why on Wednesday I finally gave up with Reddit and deleted the app off my phone. I used to use apollo app which was great but since that was forced out of the ecosystem I had to use the Reddit app but for example last wednesday I loaded up the app and got....
4 adverts, 2 sponsored, 5 posts popular near me BEFORE I could even see the first post of my subscribed subreddits....Then every other poast were more ads and popular posts near by.
That was it and I deleted the app. So long Reddit you were good until you pissed off all the mods and changed the ecosystem.
It's the only way to keep stories in the loop, mind you the other month one slashdot article was about 6 months old (having been in various other news sites) before it got published on slashdot
What everyone wants is to allow Apollo back.
Really Reddit is going downhill so fast now that they are starting to dream up shit ideas to try and stop people leaving including all the mods!!
Waiting for a complete advertising platform to soon happen when we will go to full screen ad popups and intermediate shortcut adds to software (ie click on your desktop shortcut for browser|word|excel|custom|photoshop|etc) and an ad will popup fron and centre which you have to dismiss to allow your program to load)
No, Microsoft has an Ads store!
They just don't have that Killer App for VR yet.
Maybe next year, maybe not.
Just get Musk to send someone to Mars with a brush
Should be the same in all countries now especially here in the UK
Just wish there was a cheap way to add GPIO to PC's
