Not all trains use overhead or line power. In the UK, there are many lines where Diesel-electric trains are still in use.

I'm a laptop owner, who uses Dmcrypt, and with a 2 second boot time off SSD, i never bother hibernating. Better check what kernel....

I can see why they don't want people using such devices during take off and landing. (i.e, paying attention to the crew in an emergency). If you're using the IFE system, they can interupt that - not if you're on an IPOD buried in a e-reader etc.

Blackberry is perfect for email, but the browser is just terrible :(

I miss my blackberry everytime i write an email, but i would miss my android more as a useful device.

This is not correct. It's even simpler- they spoof the callerid to be the mobile's number. Most people have voicemail set to not require PIN from their own phone. Instant access, no pin guessing required.

You don't need to guess any digits. You spoof the caller id to be the cell phones number. Most people don't bother with a PIN if they call voicemail from their own phone.

Their Business Desktops are actually pretty decent. The Probook 5310m/5320m line make awesome Linux laptops, SSD, 3G inbuilt.

I love my Nexus S, and maintain it via Cyangenmod, but the simple fact is that the majority of handsets are hopelessly out of date, with known security problems, and the networks just don't give a shit.

What makes you think there are no known security holes? Do you check the source for any similar flaws in upstream versions of Firefox?
