1) The Federal government has spent trillions of dollars in the last 50 years in the "war" on poverty. I'm curious as to why those millionaires think a few million dollars more will make a significant difference
2) Poverty is a relative term. People in "poverty" in the US have materially better lives than the average European, and would be legitimately considered "1 percenters" by the Third World. So "poverty" will never end - it will simply be redefined upward along with the average standard of living.

A few paragraphs later the page states that "state resources" includes university email accounts.

So, at the very least, the "professor" violated university policy. If your assertion is correct (that he's not an "official"), then he can make that argument in court.

When you call for a violence against the established government (like France Fox Piven did recently), and you know that a fair number of the people reading her comments are loons, and you find out the shooter was a lefty atheist pot-head, it's a reasonable speculation that lefty "eliminationist rhetoric" inspired the shootings.

Seems somebody was listening to Frances Fox Piven or reading the "Giffords is dead to me" post on DailyKos and acted on it. Scary.
