Switch jobs every 3-5 years. VC spread their money over lots of companies. You should do like wise. Falling in love with a company is great but in the the end your a resource to be extracted and disposed of for people with "business acumen". You need to take the same attitude and and make sure the company is in fact giving you your due. Get your equity and get out. If the company is actually showing promise in 3 to 5 year maybe stay but do not ever think the companies success hinges on you being there. It does not. The business end of the business will do everything they can to make sure that is not the case even if it is. Good luck

I feel sorry for the poor person who is simply trying to reduce her carbon foot print, live a physically smaller foot print and have economical transportation in a large city. The people tipping car a simply juvenile regardless of their age.

Straight talk uses T-Mobile

Because I buy no contract phones that are GSM I am part of the only real competitive network in North America. ATT vs T-Mobile. ATT's 3 billion contribution to my plan now means I pay $50 (1st line) + $30(2nd line) + $10(3rd) all with data, text and talk. Previously 2 lines cost me $175 under contract. Thank you ATT.

Fortunately there is a solution. Software defined radio. If that were to deployed SDR as part of the communications network we would be able to talk to old equipment.

The problem is not the Kindle. Publishers (particularly scholarly publishers ) have not adopted epub format. PDFs do not reflow to screen size therefore they will NEVER be useful in devices of variable screen sizing. Sorry. There is no reason you should not be able to get you publications in a format that would be more convenient to read on any eReader. Check put http://elife.elifesciences.org... and down load the epub version of the article. I wish plosone.org had the good sense to provide an epub versions but they are too far behind the times.

$10,000 was the price of the first Lisa Computer from Apple - um 30 years ago. The Pro seems fairly priced in comparison:)

Brilliant!! THe UK will now be able to use the nations pubs to generate energy. Given the high domestic alcohol consumption the UK will be energy independent in less than a year. It could even become a patriotic duty to drink even more:)

China seems to flip a switch on BGP and all the traffic gets routed through them. The US can't stop that. The problem is that the rest of world relies on US benevolence. Something they seem to be re-evaluating as we speak.

If I can question whether I have freewill then I have right. I haven't read the article yet - bet that is what it says - you know it does. Somebody go find out for me!
