Researchers from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare conducted a study to assess ECAP's effectiveness in improving outcomes for children, families, and their families. The results of ECAP placements compared to those without ECAP were compared in the pre/post study. Here is a summary of the study's results. To determine how certain characteristics impact placement stability, the researchers also looked at over 22,000 previous placement records. ECAP's algorithms were modified to reflect this new information, and to make them even more effective. FCT is involved in ongoing research projects that help us understand the relationship between placement matching, better outcomes for children/families, and better placement matches. Our Research Advisory Board consults with domain experts to improve our predictive analytics to reduce trauma for children and families throughout the country through the use ECAP. -
