Liquid Glass has a lot of room for improvement

    Date: May 26 2026

Summary: Doesn't change much from macOS Sequoia to macOS Tahoe other than a lot of visual UI changes that are divisive.

Positive: Continues the journey that Apple has been working towards with a unified UI across macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS.

Negative: Liquid Glass makes sense with visionOS, but on macOS transparency needs to be adjusted or else readability suffers. Also, Launch Pad feature has been combined with Spotlight Search, which is nice but also means one of the many touchpad gestures has been removed.
