Jobberbase is an open-source platform for job boards that allows the creation of job websites. Jobberbase, in comparison, is for job websites what WordPress is for blogs. Jobberbase has been downloaded more than 100,000 times since its launch. Jobberbase was the first open source job board platform. This was a refreshing change in a world where other similar software was expensive, outdated, and often paid for. Jobberbase gained popularity over the next few years and a few core contributors such as Lavi & Cosmin Mendrea, Radu Lucaciu, and others who were also heavily involved with the community and helping people out. Other developers began to make a living customizing and extending Jobberbase for clients. New themes were created, etc. Version 2.0 has been launched with many improvements and additions.
