jBPM Description

jBPM is a toolkit that allows you to build business applications that automate business processes.

jBPM is a derivative of BPM (Business Process Management), but it has been redesigned to allow users to choose their own path to business automation. It offers many capabilities that simplify and externalize business logic to reusable assets like cases, processes, decision trees, and more.

jBPM is available as a standalone service or embedded into a custom service. It doesn't require that any particular framework be used. jBPM is commonly used to build business apps.
