It has developed a deep perceptual precoder' software solution that uses AI to "see with a human eye" to optimize visual quality and save bitrate during encoding. BitSave, its flagship product, is available as a SaaS platform at bitsave.tech or for on-premise use. It reduces encoding bitsrates by upto 40% without compromising perceptual quality. The technology can be used as an add-on feature for conventional video encoding pipelines (AVC and HEVC) without requiring any changes to the streaming process or client devices. This allows VoD and live streaming services, broadcasters and consumers to save significant bandwidth, energy, cost, and time.
