    Summary: Solid platform, but I wish for more customization options. Saves us a lot of time in some areas, but makes other areas harder or impossible.

    Positive: Ease of use.
    Love the retail.
    Clean look.
    Roster is good.
    Ease of freezing a membership and cancelation.
    Love the ability to see the entire month of classes
    Great for private events, the creation of a link to create an account and register themselves for a private event. That saves us a lot of time!

    Negative: Can’t link family, so that they can share a credit card. I have to re enter the same card for each family member, which necessitates me to write down the cc number, and that increases a security risk of card theft (I do shred all paperwork, but still,,)
    1 Family can’t share an email. Many families have a “family account” It would be helpful to have the family to be able to have multiple accounts on one email
    Funky refund method for us, a non intuitive 2 step process (When processing a refund (other than membership, which we shouldn't be refunding), simply refunding the item does not zero it out. so it is a two step process. process refund, refund to account balance, and then go back to client profile, Active Items, Change Remaining uses to zero, and change expiration date to the date of the refund.) It is just not easy to use/remember.

    Big Steps post Pandemic

    Summary: I love it overall. It’s easy. And what I can’t figure out, I email Ali and we schedule a call.
    My clients find it easy and reaching my clients with notifications or chat is super easy.

    Positive: fitDEGREE transition was easy for the team. They were kind, helpful & I brought much anxiety to the process.
    When I need help, now 2 years later, Ali is always there for me.
    I enjoy listening to the podcasts for ideas.
    Most updates have helped and no major issues have caused a halt in business.

    Negative: I have made my concern known, so this is no surprise, the way the waitlist is handled is terrible.
    - a client should should not be able to be on the waitlist unless they have an active class/ membership
    - the system should automatically move them into the class once a cancel comes through.
    - it’s lost revenue all around and takes times from staff to see if ppl that can or can not come to class

    Summary: For me: The support team, primarily Nick and Megan, are fantastic. When I signed up for fitDEGREE I opted in for the additional training. It was money well spent. I met weekly with Nick, who had the training mapped out, to go over the week's topics and to get hands on experience navigating the App. In addition, these sessions were taped which I reference when needed. We also utilize their fitSpot Guru Pod casts for ways to improve and market our studio. For my clients: All have had nothing but praise for the switch to fitDEGREE. My clients love the overall look of the App on their phone and the ease to navigate through it.

    Positive: Ease of use, not only for me but for the clients as well. One of my fears was losing some of my client base during the transitioning from the old software to fitDEGREE. However, the transition was seamless even for my most novice "techie" clients. The Messaging feature within the App is a welcome form of quick communication as well as the "announcement" option. One important feature we wanted was the ability to customizing the App to reflect our studio and our mission. fitDEGREE shines here, easy to set up classes and events within the App as well as being able to edit and change things quickly.

    Negative: We allow our students to share classes from their packages with their friends. The fitDEGREE app does not allow you to share your classes ,however; does give an option to "gift" a class to somebody. Its not convenient to our students.

    Summary: My overall experience is so positive! From the amazing onboarding to the continued check-ins and customer service. It's just so easy to use and makes my life as a studio owner easier!

    Positive: So easy! On-the-go is so user friendly!! My old studios used MINDBODY and Momence and they were cumbersome and difficult. My yoga teachers and students rave about how easy fitDEGREE is to use and I just love the customer service and training to get up and running!

    Negative: There really isn't much to complain about...maybe it would be nice if my teachers had a little more access to change a couple items so I didn't have to do it but I actually prefer to do it so I know what's going on so it's really better this way!

    Best Software for my Small Studio

    Summary: After using MindBody for over 10 years, I changed to Zen Planner, which was very limiting in its features. The app was only available to members, which we didn't like since we have lots of clients who like to register/drop in via an app. We needed a software program that was economical for our small studio yet had the functionality to manage a full class schedule, workshops and appointments. Since we implemented fitDEGREE, our membership has grown to its highest point in 14 years! When fitDEGREE says "the last software switch you'll ever need," it's completely true! Switching to fitDEGREE has been one of the best decisions I have made for my business and I am truly thankful to the entire fitDEGREE team and their outstanding service!

    Positive: fitDEGREE is a phenomenal software since it has all the features we need for our small studio without being overwhelming like other software options.
    - Love the app and how it shows classes and promotes events;
    - LOVE the announcements on the app which allows us to do specific promotions to our own community (vs getting lost in social media newsfeeds);
    - Love the ability for clients to easily gift classes and invite friends to join them for class;
    - Love Ali's amazing support and the fact that I can easily schedule a Zoom call with her so I can learn the software features even better...and she always knows the solutions for my questions!
    - Love the FitFam page on Facebook and listen to the fitGuru podcasts, which are so supportive and a reminder to utilize all the important features of fitDEGREE.
    - Love the simple pricing so I can budget easily (as opposed to the slide scale pricing other software options use) and it is affordable for my small studio!

    Negative: We look forward to a day when clients can easily add a tip to their service fee for healing arts appointments (massage, reiki, reflexology, private yoga, etc).

    Overall, I appreciate how open to feedback the fitDEGREE team is when we come across potential solutions or new ideas for the software/app/.

    Summary: I loved fitDEGREE, and the training sessions, were easy to learn, and overall a seamless transition from old software. Their technical support has been better than anything I've seen, and they were also prompt with responses., with video's to watch solve the problems.

    Overall an excellent software package.

    Positive: I have been very impressed with how easy it was to learn, although that doesn't mean that it's not a technical huge help running your business. In fact, there are several features that I consider a great deal better than the existing software I came from, such as easily chatting with students, and teachers, and sending out reminders of classes, events easily from your phone or any device. I have heard nothing but good things from my students, saying they like that it's easier to use as well.

    Negative: My students did say that they missed location finders, that their phone would "self check you into your class".

    The only thing I have missed is hitting a button, and old software would send out texts to all teachers asking for subs.

    Summary: So glad that Amber, the studio owner decided to use this app! It has made the "business side" of being an instructor so easy.

    Positive: As an instructor, (Using On the Go) I love the way you can see who has registered for your class. I also love that I can check in students from my phone. And it is so easy to register new clients and set up their payment method, etc.. It is also helpful to be able to see each client's personal profile.
    As a student, it is so convenient to see what class are offered and simple to register for them. Everything is just very seamless.

    Negative: Haven't found any cons yet! So far I have had no trouble or issues using the app as and instructor or a client.

    Summary: Changing software for a yoga studio is an enormous endeavor, and I was nervous. I knew after my demo with Nick that this was the right move, and it continues to be one of the best decisions I've made for my business.

    Positive: The team at fitDEGREE is unparalleled. They're friendly, helpful, and communicative. If we have an issue, we've always received a response from customer service within 24 hours. If we have a request or recommendation, they'll accommodate if possible or offer an alternative solution if available. In addition to the team, the software itself provides us with everything required for daily functionality and future growth. fitDEGREE has the capability, integrity, and heart, that my studio needs.

    Negative: Every business has needs that are incredibly specific to their model, and there is no software company robust enough to accommodate them all. The only area in which we could be even more satisfied with our fitDEGREE experience is Reports. The software has a solid foundation of available data, but we do compile additional spreadsheets for specific KPI's.

    The Best Booking Software!

    Summary: I have used multiple other booking software's for boutique fitness studios (MindBody, Pike13, Vagaro) and fitDEGREE is hands down the best of them all. It is easy to use for both admin and clients. fitDEGREE's customer support team is top notch. They are quick to respond when you need assistance and I appreciate that they are always improving and adding features!

    Positive: fitDEGREE is very responsive to emails and they are quick to figure out a solution when there is an issue. The Customer Support team is amazing! The platform is very easy to use for both admin and clients. I appreciate that they are always willing to improve and expand the platform! The podcast is also very helpful when you want to learn more about a specific feature.

    Negative: I do wish that fitDEGREE would integrate with Zapier/Flodesk.

    Thrilled with Our Switch to fitDEGREE

    Summary: We had been using a very popular platform for studio registration and were unhappy with it. However, in some ways it felt like the devil we knew was better than the one we did not. We took time to speak with Nick about switching to fitDEGREE and he was incredibly helpful in letting us know how this platform would work for our small, locally owned studios. It never felt like a hard sell, rather he was helping us decide if the fit was good. We made the switch at the new year, and our clients resoundingly gave us very positive feedback about the new app and registration process. They love the ease of use, the class registration reminders, the branded app, their ability to easily see and review their registrations and cancel classes.

    Likewise our teachers were happy with fitDEGREE. We were all a little worried about the confusion level with the switch, but fitDEGREE provided us with so much helpful information to include messaging, links and videos to provide to our teachers and clients. Our teachers were relieved to know that the platform is intuitive and very easy to navigate.

    It should be noted that our hands were held through the entire process of switching to fitDEGREE. I was so pleasantly surprised on how thoroughly I was walked through the switch by Montse. She helped me recreate our schedule, set up all my pricing options and ensure that everything was in place for the app to activate with ease. Megan supported me in transitioning all my clients from the previous platform to fitDEGREE, to include their Class Packs and Memberships. (Honestly I expected some chaos to ensue, but that never happened. It was pretty incredible.)

    I feel a great sense of relief in knowing that support from fitDEGREE is fast, friendly and helpful. If an email can't answer my question, I can easily set up a Zoom call with support and Ali has ensured that all my questions are solved - in my experience usually in less than a day.

    An additional perk I didn't realize the value of until we were a couple months into use is the added support we receive in the form of the podcast and small business supportive emails. They provide ideas for promotion, tracking sales and advertising which are very helpful for a small business owner.

    Finally, an important part of our mission is building and maintaining a supportive community around our clients. FitDEGREE allows our community to friend and chat with one another on our app. They can invite one another to classes, and can even gift classes to others on the app. It is a wonderful way for our studio to promote our mission of connection even when students are outside of the studio.

    I have been recommending this app to other studio owners with enthusiasm, and I'll continue to do so.

    Positive: Ease of use for clients (they were very clear when we switched that the much preferred fitDEGREE to our prior platform).

    Best Decision We Ever Made!

    Summary: We use fitDEGREE to run our yoga studios and couldn't be happier. We have all the functionality that we need to create a positive experience for our students and our teachers. This software helped us grow from one studio to two because of how easy it is to use and the amazing customer service.

    Positive: We love the customer service; they are super stars! We can ask dozens of questions and are always met with thoughtful responses that range from an email to a 1:1 training session to make sure that we feel thoroughly supported. The platform continues to grow and change in response to customer feedback and we are always so happy with all the ways that fitDEGREE tries to ensure that we are as successful as we can be and that we are using the platform to the utmost (we love the podcast!).
